Phlebotomist - Junior Lab Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Male Phlebotomist - Junior Lab Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our facilities in Kharadi and Chandan Nagar, Pune. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience after BSc and DMLT, with the ability to operate all kinds of laboratory analyzers. Home collection duties are required.
Responsibilities
Conduct phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients in a safe and hygienic manner.
Perform laboratory tests and analyses under the supervision of senior technicians, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
Operate various laboratory analyzers and equipment, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment, as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Perform home collection visits as required, ensuring timely and efficient sample collection and transportation.
Requirements
Male candidate with own bike for transportation.
Bachelor degree i(BSc) and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a laboratory or diagnostic center.
Proficiency in operating a wide range of laboratory analyzers and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in sample handling and testing procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Willingness to relocate near our lab location in Pune and perform home collection visits as required.
